Four weeks off the pitch wasn’t an issue for the Ulverstone women’s team, who cruised to victory against Sheffield. The Black Caps, who had a bye last weekend, got off to a dominant start with captain Kahla Summers taking 4-3 in four overs. Gusty conditions didn’t impact the home side, according to coach Sam Cotton, who said Summers’ impressive haul was aided by the weather. “(Kahla) bowled into the wind and I think that helped her because she’s an off spinner, so you’ve got a fair bit of dip with the ball and that was probably pretty hard to face,” Cotton said. “And we also had Hannah Martin, who only sort of started playing this year; she bowls…
